Times have changed

Yesterday was the twin's ninth birthday. We had a small family celebration at the house. Next Saturday, they will have a sleepover with their friends to celebrate their birthday, AGAIN.

Girl Twin is very artistic. She wanted an artist easel for her birthday, and enough other stuff that would have required us to ask for a government bailout.

Boy Twin has this gun thing. He actually told his teacher, he can't wait to get older so he can shoot more awesome guns. He wanted a bow and arrow set. Of course, his list would add to our bailout.

I think they received enough stuff they should be happy. I think they did OK for their ninth birthday. They got their easel and a compound bow. For my ninth birthday, I got my older brother's paper route.
