The summer is over. School is back in session. One of our twins (exactly half of them) have moved on to taking some college courses. The other twin, (the other half of the set) is enjoying the summer, which at this point is allowing it to be over. It’s been quite a summer for both of them. Forty-fourth
August 2021 continues. It has taken a turn towards the sweet. Last Friday was Elaine’s and my forty-fourth wedding anniversary. I searched the internet for information on exactly what anniversary the forty-fourth is. You know, like paper for the first, silver for the twenty-fifth, and gold for the fiftieth. Irony! Elaine’s birthday is 12/30. Monner’s birthday is 08/04. Bittersweet! All bitter, no sweet. Last week I wrote that good things happen to me in the month of August. August, my favorite and one of my least favorite months. Favorite! Elaine and I were married in August. That worked out pretty well. Our son was born in August. I have many friends who have birthdays in August. As a child, my parents took my brothers and me on vacation in August. My first camping trip with Elaine started in July but ended in August.
