Foggy Holiday

We will be “enjoying” a different kind of MONNER’S MUMBLING today. Since we have last chatted last, I have had two back surgeries, one scheduled and one totally unplanned.

Both surgeries were successful, and I am thankful to have them behind me. (Behind me, get it.) I need to consider the second surgery slightly more successful than the first.

The first surgery successfully allows me to walk without crutches within two hours after recovery. However, the first surgery resulted in me developing a hematoma that need to be drained with additional surgery.

The second surgery put me a little behind with my Monnner’s Mumbling duties, as well as the family Christmas celebration, which has been postponed.

For the past five days, I have spent my time lying in a hospital bed next to my lovely wife until the beervirus police make Elaine go home. At this very moment, I am sitting in room #3601, typing this gibberish.

I will apologize, but those tiny white pills I get every six hours to have me in a fog. I know there is a story, but I’m having trouble telling the story (and typing).

I had every intention of getting up this morning and writing the story. Believe me, there are stories to tell. Christmas stories, beervirus stories.

So, listen, I owe you one. Check back during the week or next weekend, I’ll have something to say.

Now, I’m not too fogging to hope that you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to follow. Please remember Christmas is not the presents, it is families and peace. God Bless, Merry Christmas, Monner loves you.

Our crazy lives!

(foggy) Monner

I hope this makes sense
