Data, Gigs and Wrestling
I need to get a head start on my story. I am writing at the store Saturday afternoon because I have no available data at home. I have no idea what that means. I just know that when I try to access the internet at home, the arrow in the upper left-hand corner of my computer screen just spins and spins. It was Elaine that told me we are out of gigs.
I have written before about our lack of data. At that time Elaine told me we needed to buy a package with more gigs of data.We obviously didn’t bump it enough. Now that the twins have smart phones again, we are running out of data. Elaine thinks they are watching too many downloads. Elaine explained to me what downloads are and I think they are watching too many also. I would ask them to stop watching them, but someone needs to tell me what they are.
Elaine tried to explain download and data to me. I asked how long a gig of data lasts. She told me that it varies and no one could answer that. That confused me even more.

Then Elaine tried to explain her comments. Downloads are photos and videos that you click on to look at.” ”Oh, OK, its the stuff you don’t need to read!” And then Elaine said, “No, that’s not right, downloads can also be just printed words.”
Then Elaine confused me even more by telling me, “We get more data between 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM every day.” I said, “Let me get this straight. If I write Monner’s Mumblings after 2:00 AM that little arrow won’t be spinning.” ”As long as you are done by 8:00 AM.” Does this sound like an Abbott and Costello bit?
I now understand what has been happening. With The Fa
