Friday Thanksgiving
Well........our Friday night Thanksgiving wasn't a total disaster. Or was it? It actually felt like any other thanksgiving, just maybe a little different. What was different? It was actually nice having a day where Elaine and I just laid back and enjoyed the day. Thanksgiving that is. No one was here, so we didn't have anyone to entertain. Elaine knitted most of the day. (Someone is getting something knitted for Christmas. Whether they like it or not.) Here's a quick
Who Says?
If you've known me a while, you might have noticed I'm a bit of a Renegade. I can't say why I didn't conform to the rules parents laid out for my brothers and me. If rules didn't make sense, they didn't make sense. (Brother Larry might have renegaded me.) I have feelings about rules are made to be broken. It's only fair that I include Elaine in this story because is involved completion of the task. The only difference between Elaine's participation and mine is that Elaine still likes Gordon when we have completed the task. I can't say that I couldn't see this task coming and there is a certain amount of procrastination that is responsible. Starting at the beginning,
Time Change
I wish they could leave it alone. the time. I would rather have the extra daylight after work, after school, even after dinner. What's wrong with having an extra hour of dark in the morning? My dogs would love it. The dogs get up when the sun starts shining in the windows on the east side of the house. That wouldn't be bad except for the fact that the ever-present herd of deer move into the yard just before dawn. The dogs know the deer are up to no good and are determined
