I want to wish all Happy Father's Day.
Two-thirds of my children are attending a concert together. They bought tickets months ago. One of those children regrets having bought tickets to the fat, tattooed guy who thinks he knows what country music sounds like. That child wishes she could spend the day with me, or so she said.
The remaining one-third of my children has not seen their significant other for two weeks. Reluctantly, (or so they say) this child could spend the day with me or pick up their significant other returning from a trip to Hawaii. This child saw me/us less than a week ago and has made plans to see me next weekend.
I know my kids love me, but I wonder if they would love me more if I gained a couple hundred pounds and tattooed my face. After, I finish my Sunday story, I am going to brunch with Elaine. Elaine won't need to pay for the kids. (Elaine is the one with a job.)
Cat's in the cradle.
God Bless, love ya, Happy Dad's day, don't forget Moms
Our crazy lives!
