I didn’t tell a story last week. I had plenty of good reasons. It was Father’s Day. I was lazy and disinterested. Anyway, I’ll tell a story today. Gordon has taught himself where he can jump the fence, The deer herd and Gordon have great times playing tag. Goose doesn’t Jump the fence but if he can follow Gordon somehow he will join the tag game. I’m not sure this retirement thing is working out. Planning my time is getting harder evey day. This past week is a great example of what I’m talking about. With our recent rains the grass is growing. No big deal, I’m retired, I have plenty of time to mow. Except my cousin is in town for his yearly visit. A Bad Day
We have watched our “neighborhood” grow in the two decades Elaine and I have lived here. Our “new” neighbors include retired police and firemen, retired military, but we realize not all the newbies are retired. For the last year I have been watching the guy in the red pickup.
