Great Week

This was a great week. Elaine is getting the hang of retirement, I think she is going to make it work She turned in her company computer. finished up her insurance forms and started knitting. Her choice of television show 'have changed from the sixties western to shows with policewomen. She has pointed out she has been reading more now that she has more time. I think she is reading murder mysteries, so I am watching her closely.

Elaine changing her choice of television shows is not what made the week great. For the first ti/me this winter we received MEASURABLE snow. Normally measurable snow does not make for a great week. I've seen measurable snow ruin more weeks than make for great weeks.

Boy Twin spent part of the week with Elainie and I helping around the house. That always makes for a great week.

But last night was my favorite part of the week. I fell asleep without turning off the lights and television. I woke up a few minutes after 4:00AM. To my delight I saw that "Big Jake:" my all-time favorite John Wayne movie started at 4:00 AM. There was no going back to sleep, but who cares it was meant to be. "I have watched that movie maybe one hundred times, but I had to watch it again.

It was a great week!
