Heroes

If you have been paying attention you might have noticed this country that we call home celebrated it 250 year old birthday. You may or may not think that is pretty cool because a lot of countries are older than 250 years.

Personally, I think it is really quite neat considering the heroes this country has produced in this realatively short time. This country produced the first men to fly, The Wright Brothers were definitely heroes. Think about the heroes that save the world from the evil that tried to take over the world in the 1940’s.

Without this great country there would be no peaut butter, George Washinton Carver is a hero. I haven’t even touched on the other George Washington, the father of this great county, If there was ever a hero this guy qualifies. Every one of the founding fathers were heroes in their own right.

We can’t forget the more modern day heroes this country produced, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Jesse Owens.

And least we forget maybe the greatest American (in my opinion) hero of them all. The one that showed up 18 years ago onthe fourth of July and every Fourth of July since. Joey Chesnut, the guy that can eat more than sixty hotdogs in ten minutes. There is no greater American than that, and he has the belts to prove it.

This country and its heroes have definitely been blessed by God. I’m sure there are other heroes I haven’t mentioned.

God Bless, Love ya, celebrate the heroes.

Our crazy lives!
