Last one?

We made it. We got to the last week of 2025. There hasn't been much good for me/us in 2025. The weather has been super dry and windy this year. As a matter of fact, the weather man had predicted snow for last night, but we didn't get any[ snow. We did get wind, as I write the wind is blowing over 30MPH.

I had my share of doctor's appointments. My primary care doctor decided to have at least one more child of his own. I have had so many appointments this past year my doctor can afford to send at least one more child to college. I am finishing the year with my right foot in a cast

I think 2026 will be a better year. Elaine will retire from her job drawing powerlines. I guess 35 years is enough, We talk about doing some traveling, if we can agree on what we want to see. I'm not much of a traveler. I was away from home for most of my construction career. I've seen buildings, trees, gardens, and animals. I've been on boats, planes, and automobiles, but Elaine wants to take a turn. Most of her dreams involve countries dominated by sheep and yarn. I don't mind sheep, but I like cows better. I don't see any reason to travel to another country to see either one.

I plan on getting my cast off in 2026, followed by a colonoscopy
