Too Hot!

I’m going to say something I don’t think I’ve ever said before.  “I’m ready for summer to be over”. 

This has not been a great summer for me.  I can’t believe it was almost TOO hot, I like hot weather, but this has been ridiculous. The skies have been hazy from the nation’s wildfires. I guess I am looking forward to winter because I despise fall/autumn. 

Elaine loves Fall.  She likes the middle of the road temperatures, the gray, brown, tan vegetation.  I like greens, blues, reds.  It has been so hot and dry, the vegetation has already taken on autumn hues.  If it is going to look like fall, it might as well be fall. 

I like winter.  Winter is full of adventure, and a person can dress for the cold.  Spring is nice, it leads to summer.

That said. I haven’t accomplished many things this summer.  I haven’t finished mowing the property.  Elaine and I have not taken a vacation or even any day trips.  We have, however,  went to dinner with friends and I do like dinner.

So let’s get this summer over and move on.
